The AI market buries products every month, usually without an announcement. Our daily sweep detects them when they stop responding, and this record tells what happened to each one, with sources and the living alternative to use instead.
The July 25, 2026 sweep found generai.com turned into a parking page redirecting to Afternic with the domain up for sale. There was no shutdown announcement: the image generator simply disappeared.

kidscoloringpage.com still responds, but what it serves is no longer the AI coloring-page generator: it is an Indonesian online coloring-games portal under another brand. The product we reviewed disappeared without notice.

The conversational search engine with cited sources vanished between May and July 2026: its domain sits for sale on GoDaddy, the app redirects to the same storefront and its Android app returns 404. The archived copy from May 17 still worked, so the shutdown took weeks and came without an announcement.

Cognition, which acquired Windsurf in late 2025, retired the brand on June 2, 2026: the editor auto-updated to Devin Desktop with plans and extensions intact. Cascade, its local agent, was retired on July 1 in favour of Devin Local. The product lives on inside the Devin family.

The VS Code extension sharing Cline's base announced its shutdown on May 15, 2026 and its repository sits archived read-only, with the notice pointing to alternatives. Much of its community has returned to Cline, the open reference in VS Code.
