1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

Serchai has no user accounts or newsletters and does not ask for a name, email address or phone number. When you use the decision engine on the homepage, the text you enter is processed to understand your need and generate a recommendation. Before storing it, we automatically remove email addresses, phone numbers, web addresses, long numeric identifiers and handles written with @. Even so, please do not include personal data or confidential information.

We retain that sanitised version for no longer than 90 days, together with its language, the approximate country supplied by Cloudflare's network, the inferred need and the tools recommended. We do not store the IP address, user-agent, a cookie, an account or any identifier that recognises a person across visits. Expired records are deleted automatically.

Purposes: providing the recommendation, evaluating its quality, improving the catalogue and understanding aggregate market demand. Legal basis: legitimate interest in providing and improving the service with minimised data (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Any commercial reports contain aggregate, anonymous trends only: we do not disclose individual queries to third parties without separate, explicit consent.

The text is processed through Cloudflare Workers AI. Cloudflare acts as an infrastructure provider and states that customer content is not used to train models or improve Cloudflare or third-party services without explicit consent.

Site analytics run on GoatCounter, a statistics service that uses no cookies and no personal data: it only records, in aggregate, which pages are visited, the referring site and screen size — no IP addresses or individual identifiers. Legal basis: legitimate interest in measuring aggregate audience (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

When you click a provider link, our first-party record stores the originating page and button, destination domain, approximate country and continent supplied by Cloudflare, a coarse device category, referring domain and UTM campaign tags. It does not retain the full referring URL, IP address, full user-agent, city, coordinates or any persistent identifier.

3. Third-party links

When you click an external link (including affiliate links) you leave this site and the destination site's privacy policy applies. We recommend reviewing it before providing any data.

4. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
