Why look for a Hoppy Copy alternative

Hoppy Copy is an email-marketing writing platform: sequences, newsletters and competitor monitoring with saved brand voices. Third-party reviews agree the output has a solid base and that monitoring up to 50 competitors is the most-cited feature, but they also agree the result reads as AI-generated and needs a human pass before it goes out.

What its own users repeat in the August 12, 2026 sweep:

  • The generated text reads as 100% AI-detectable per Originality.ai's review, so it needs human editing (strong theme)
  • G2 notes that links inside the monitored competitor emails render as unclickable images (present theme)
  • Logging in requires an email verification code every time, a friction point G2 reviews mention (present theme)

What the internet says about each alternative

Jasper 3.7/5 · Free trial · from $59

It keeps winning at the same thing: holding brand voice when several people write for the same client, now with a growing agent catalogue (translation with a brand glossary, research, optimisation and, since June 16, 2026, an agent for visibility in AI search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude). The entry price stays at $59 a month on annual billing ($69 monthly), confirmed on the site, with no free plan and only a 7-day trial. Third-party aggregators that still cite a cheaper 'Creator' plan are out of date: it no longer exists on the official page.

Where it wins: Brand voice consistency across pieces is the most cited point in its favour, and it shows when several people write for the same client Where it slips: It costs around three times a paid general-purpose chat, and for a creator who publishes rarely it does not pay off

Anyword 3.6/5 · Free trial · from $49

First sweep. Anyword sells something nobody else in the segment does: a predicted performance score on every piece it generates, produced by a model trained on real campaign data. The layer above it (brand voice, audience personas, analysis of already-published content) is the usual one. The score is what carries the price, and it is also the weak spot: the accuracy figures the vendor publishes are its own and nobody has audited them, and an independent review says flatly that it disagreed with several of the rankings. The entry plan is $49 a month billed monthly ($39 annually), with no free tier, and cost is the complaint that repeats most in user reviews. Outside short marketing copy it returns little for what it costs.

Where it wins: Predictive scoring is a real, separable feature rather than a garnish: it does not score every format it generates, which is what gives it away as a separate subsystem Where it slips: The accuracy figures it publishes (82% against 52% for a generalist model) come from the vendor and no independent audit backing them is on record
