Three sources from the same manufacturer show three different prices for what looks like the same entry tier. The ReadAI layer remains limited, by its own documentation, to the personal web app and to uploaded documents, with no mobile support yet and no work with pasted text. The counter is still rated poorly where the service itself gets reviewed, with the same 1.4 out of 5 across 27 SmartCustomer reviews already on record, while app stores keep their high ratings unchanged, 4.2 on Chrome and 4.6 on Apple.

The limits still sit in the terms rather than the voice: generation hours are metered, audio never leaves the app, and books bought on Kindle or Apple Books are locked out by their DRM. On top of that there is a parsing problem flagged since the app's launch that a recent guide confirms is still unresolved: PDFs with complex formatting, such as tables, multiple columns or forms, come out incomplete or out of order.
